To their credit is a combined solid track record in business management and actual practice of culinary arts in their respective areas of expertise. All these are backed by prominent university education in the Philippines and professional culinary studies in prestigious culinary schools in Manila and New York. 

Creative Cuisine Catering Services has a long trail of experience in volume service. Being a major canteen concessionaire for local and multinational firms, it has the experience in 24/7 operations, serving 8,000 meals a day. Its Management and Staff have demonstrated versatility and adeptness in the preparation of different types of cuisine may they be Chinese, Japanese, American, French, Filipino, Italian, and others, at high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Currently, the Group’s operations is ably supported by four (4) in-store kitchens, three (3) commissaries, and one (1) bread commissary, with a pool of 300 well-trained service staff and chefs in various areas of culinary specializations and cuisi

 

about-history-timelineIt all started with a passion for baked pastries and dessert, which led to the opening of Kaffee Alde, a bakeshop offering specialty breads, cakes, and pastries, in March 1991. In 1992, we ventured into the Canteen Concessionaire business which became the take-off point for Creative Cuisine Catering Services. Launched in 1998, it revolutionized catering in Cebu, providing a wide array of international cuisine served in a creative and elegant buffet set-up by well-trained personnel. In 2003, we moved into the restaurant business with Big Mao Chinese Restaurant, which provides casual dining experience with innovative menus, combining traditional Chinese cooking with the influences of modern Asian cuisine, bringing to fore the “New Taste of China”. And as part of our continuing growth strategy, in 2005 we acquired Chika-an sa Cebu Restaurant, which features native Filipino dishes in a no frills kind of atmosphere.. just straightforward dining as one does in the comfort of one’s home. All these companies are run and managed in the same guiding principles of giving value for money to our customers and continuous innovation to improve their products and services.

A major CSR initiative of the Group is establishing a Creative Cuisine Training School that provides a four (4)-month culinary training for free, to those who are interested in pursuing a career in culinary arts. Participants of the program are mostly the under-privileged of our society, who are likewise provided with fare allowance to enable them to attend their training sessions regularly. Those who desire to join the training must meet certain admission requirements and must comply with the quality standards set by the school. Successful graduates are guaranteed employment after the training.
